LEGRAND CIRCULAR ECONOMY - TAKE BACK PROGRAM

Legrand aims to reduce the environmental impact of its products by promoting the circular economy, reducing the amount of materials used and promoting the reuse of materials.

Promoting the circular economy involves innovating to create an economy where a product's end of life is considered from the design stage to minimise its environmental impact. This ecosystem relies on more efficient use of natural resources and a thorough recovery of waste. Specifically, it includes establishing disposal channels for Legrand products as they reach the end of their lifecycle.

Take Back Program for Emergency Lighting Decals and Satellite Rings

As part of our commitment to the circular economy, we are excited to launch our new take back program for our emergency light fittings and satellite products.

How does it work?

Simply put your unused emergency lighting decals and satellite rings into the dedicated Legrand product recycling bins in select distributors across Australia. Unused products are then brought back to our local production and manufacturing facility in Preston's to be re-used or recycled.

  • Unused parts from the products gets collected at the wholesaler
  • Brought back into our production facility in Preston's
  • Parts are sorted to determine re-usability
  • Damaged parts get recycled
  • Usable parts are processed and put back into stock to be used in a new product
